Message From The Director

The CEI, over a period of 13 years, has positioned itself within the ecosystem as a space of possibilities and a place of becoming. The CEI as a place of becoming reflects its commitment to empowering and transforming students, graduates, and community MSMEs into innovative creators of sustainable economic and social value. As a space of possibilities, the CEI emphasizes entrepreneurship as an exciting journey of self-discovery and growth. It serves as a gateway to curated and targeted business acumen, digital skills, and growth mindset tools that empower individuals to create lasting value for themselves, their communities, and the continent.

The CEI specializes in curated activations that ignite entrepreneurial behaviour and entrepreneurial thinking across all disciplines. It creates targeted experiences that equip students and community MSMEs with practical coaching support to design innovative entrepreneurial solutions for the SDGs and market opportunities. Extending its focus beyond the university walls, the CEI is committed to supporting unemployed youth, women, NEET individuals, and community MSMEs through practical entrepreneurial toolkits and personalized mentoring sessions aimed at enhancing livelihoods and increasing opportunities for economic participation.

With the support of corporate partners, the CEI established a Trading Incubator to advance market access for marginalized township MSMEs, while also serving as a strategic blueprint for building a more inclusive economy. The CEI looks forward to accompanying like-minded enterprising individuals and corporate partners on their journeys toward achieving entrepreneurial goals. Together, we can turn the tide on unemployment and build a strong foundation that transforms job seekers into innovative entrepreneurial leaders.

Mr. Abraham (Abe) Oliver, Director
