Terms of use for CEI services and website

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the CEI website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Programme Participation

Programme participants agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information in applications
  • Attend scheduled sessions and meet programme requirements
  • Respect intellectual property rights of CEI and fellow participants
  • Comply with UWC policies and South African law

3. Intellectual Property

All content on the CEI website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of CEI/UWC or licensed to us. Participants retain ownership of their business ideas and intellectual property developed through our programmes.

4. Limitation of Liability

CEI provides educational and support services but does not guarantee business success. Participants are responsible for their own business decisions and outcomes. CEI is not liable for any losses, damages, or consequences arising from programme participation.

5. Code of Conduct

All participants must:

  • Treat staff, mentors, and fellow participants with respect
  • Maintain confidentiality when required
  • Use CEI resources responsibly
  • Report any concerns or violations promptly

6. Termination

CEI reserves the right to terminate programme participation or website access for violations of these terms, inappropriate behavior, or at our discretion.

7. Amendments

CEI may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts.
